A new range of soaps developed on the herb farm at Le Moulin de la Motte by Mel and Greta, often known to each other as Herbie and Gerbie.

SOAP – ON – A – ROPE

These unique, pot shaped herbal soaps are made with 100% extra virgin olive oil, pure essential oils and organic herbs grown and dried at the farm.

These hand-made soaps are made with pure, natural ingredients. They are long lasting and provide a sumptuously sensual experience; cleansing gently while moisturising and caring for your skin. The essential oils provide an uplifting fragrance, enhancing your wellbeing, and the herbs, with their exfoliating benefits create naturally occurring colours and fragrances. Some varieties may contain French clays for their colour as well as their cleansing and toning properties.

Why on a rope?

Hanging your handmade soap to dry after use will help prevent deterioration, which is possible if the soap does not dry completely between uses. Some soap may drip a little after use, but it will not stain.

The essential luxury that does not cost the earth.

Herbie Gerbie soaps contain essential oils including lavender, rosewood, basil and geranium and the herbs lavender and rosehips. They are not tested on animals and nor do they contain harmful petro-chemical or synthetic ingredients and they are kind to your skin as well as the environment. They are suitable for most skin, but if irritation develops please discontinue use and ask about our baby range, or Special Sensitive Soap that is simply, fragrance free.
